I really don’t think of myself as a “sadist”. I derive no pleasure from hurting/inflicting pain. When my girl embraces pain (hard nipple play, being slapped, etc., etc.), and my face slap, or brutal nipple treatment - along with verbal direction to “cum” - results in a powerful orgasm, the s&m blurs with mutual love and sexual intimacy.  The yin/yang of s&m I suppose.
